The Castlegar delegation traveled to Japan on July 29th to August 13th, 2025. The students and leaders visited Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Kamakura, Tokyo and Sapporo before making their way to Embetsu. In Embetsu, the students and leaders stayed with their host families for 5 days. They enjoyed a variety of activities, some with just their host families and others all together as a group, including the Embetsu River Summer Festival that took place on August 9th.
